Job Summary
We are seeking an ambitious, proactive Business Development Manager to drive our commercial expansion across the region. In this pivotal full-time role, you will take strategic ownership of identifying high-value opportunities, securing new business partnerships, and expanding our market presence within the fast-paced logistics sector. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and attending client-facing meetings to negotiating contracts and onboarding key accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively research, identify, and generate new B2B business opportunities across the region.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, qualify decision-makers, and secure face-to-face or virtual sales meetings.
- Attend client appointments to present tailored same-day courier and logistics solutions, successfully closing new accounts.
- Produce accurate, competitive quotes and tenders that align with margin expectations and operational capability.
- Provide initial account management and smooth onboarding for new clients to secure long-term retention and revenue growth.
- Maintain meticulous records of pipelines, interactions, and forecasts on the company CRM system.
- Collaborate on regional marketing and sales campaigns.
- Manage your schedule and pipeline independently to consistently achieve agreed revenue and growth targets.

Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in B2B business development, field sales, or account acquisition (logistics/transport experience advantageous but not essential).
- Strong face-to-face negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and the drive to hunt for new opportunities.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own diary and pipeline.
- A collaborative team player with a good sense of humour and high integrity.
- Valid UK driving licence (maximum 3 points) is essential.
