Business Development Manager | IT Managed Services | Mid-Market

The Role

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a leading technology solutions provider. You'll be responsible for driving new business growth across the mid-market sector, identifying opportunities, building relationships and delivering consultative technology solutions that solve real business challenges.

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 Base + Uncapped Commission (Double OTE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and win new business opportunities within the mid-market private sector.
  • Build and execute account acquisition strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand customer objectives and challenges.
  • Present and position solutions across networking, cloud, managed IT, cyber security and unified communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximise opportunities and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that create sustainable recurring revenue.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven success in B2B IT, technology or managed services sales.
  • Strong new business hunting and account acquisition experience.
  • Experience selling at least two of the following:
    • Networking
    • Cloud & Managed IT
    • Cyber Security
    • Unified Communications
  • A consultative sales approach with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A driven, self-motivated and target-focused mindset.

Desirable

  • Experience selling into mid-market organisations.
  • Previous experience within an MSP, cloud or technology services environment.
  • Understanding of digital transformation, cloud adoption and cyber security initiatives.
