Business Development Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven, and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join Coforge's Travel, Transport & Hospitality business.
This role is focused on generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth across the Travel, Transport, and Hospitality sector. Working closely with Client Partners, Industry Leaders, and Solution Specialists, you will be responsible for identifying prospects, building executive relationships, developing qualified opportunities, and helping clients solve complex business challenges through digital transformation, AI, cloud, data, and engineering-led solutions.
We welcome candidates from a variety of industry backgrounds, including Travel & Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Technology Services, or Consulting, provided they have a proven track record of new business development and enterprise sales.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in technology sales within a high-growth, global IT services organization.

- Sell industry-leading solutions across AI, Data, Cloud, Digital Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Business Transformation.
- Work alongside experienced Client Partners and Industry Leaders in one of Coforge's fastest-growing sectors.
- Develop your consultative selling and strategic account development skills.
- Build a clear pathway towards Client Partner, Sales Director, or Industry Leadership roles.

New Business Development
- Identify, engage, and win new clients within the Travel, Transport & Hospitality sector.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for new logo acquisition.
- Build executive-level relationships across business and technology functions.
- Generate and qualify opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic prospecting.
- Create and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned to growth objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Technology Sales, IT Services Sales, Consulting Sales, or Enterprise Sales.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and developing client relationships.
- Experience selling technology, consulting, digital transformation, cloud, AI, data, application development, or managed services solutions.
- Experience selling into Travel, Transport & Hospitality organizations is desirable but not essential.
- Candidates from Travel & Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Technology Services, or Consulting backgrounds will be considered.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with C-level and senior business stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a growth-focused sales environment.
Additional Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Technology Sales, IT Services Sales, Consulting Sales, or Enterprise Sales.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, building relationships, and closing opportunities within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience selling technology, consulting, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, engineering, or managed services solutions.
- Industry experience may come from a range of sectors, including Travel & Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Technology, Professional Services, or other private sector industries.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of building pipeline and delivering revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a growth-focused sales environment.
- Experience working within a global services or consulting organization would be advantageous.

- Knowledge of the Travel, Transport & Hospitality sector would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
