The company provides reliable, eco-friendly commercial waste collection services for general waste, food, glass, cardboard, and dry mixed recycling, tailored to each client’s operational needs. With a strong focus on sustainability, transparency, and customer service, Sensa Waste Solutions offers same-day bin delivery, flexible 7-day collections, and free waste audits to reduce costs and improve recycling rates. Based in Sheffield and serving South & West Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire, the team is committed to delivering simple, effective waste solutions backed by real support and measurable results.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with commercial clients, and promote Sensa Waste Solutions’ services across target regions. The role also involves:

  • Collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Gathering client feedback to support service improvements
  • Tracking performance against revenue and growth targets

The ideal candidate will represent the company professionally, uphold its sustainability values, and contribute to strategic market expansion.

Qualifications

  • Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Account management and customer relationship skills to support retention, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with effective time management and organization.
  • Understanding of commercial waste management, recycling, or broader environmental services is highly beneficial.
  • Experience using CRM systems and standard office software to manage data and reporting.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, ideally within service-based industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
