Role Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with estate agents and other property professionals to drive auction listings and revenue growth. On a typical day, you will:

  • Prospect new business opportunities
  • Conduct outreach calls, emails, and meetings
  • Present the benefits of the auction model
  • Manage a pipeline of potential partners

You will collaborate with internal teams to support agents through onboarding, marketing campaigns, and ongoing relationship management, ensuring an excellent experience for all stakeholders. The role also involves:

  • Monitoring market trends
  • Attending industry events
  • Providing feedback on how to improve services and processes

This is a full-time hybrid role based in West Yorkshire, with a combination of office-based work and some work from home.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and relationship management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities when working with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience in the property, real estate, or related professional services sector is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, track performance metrics, and use data to inform business decisions.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, online auction platforms, and general office software to manage pipelines and reporting.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to meet partners and attend events when required.
  • Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in business, sales, or a related field.
