Business Development Manager – I&C / Multi-Utilities / HV

Location: Remote with client visits around the Midlands and South of England

Type: Permanent

We’re working with an established UK multi-utility and high-voltage infrastructure business looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Midlands/South.

The business provides electricity, gas and water connections, alongside specialist HV infrastructure and grid connections up to 132kV, giving clients an end-to-end solution across complex I&C and infrastructure projects.

The Role

  • Win new multi-utility, electricity and HV connection projects
  • Develop opportunities across electricity, gas, water - LV-132kV infrastructure
  • Grow and nurture relationships with existing key clients
  • Build relationships with developers, consultants, contractors and major I&C customers
  • Develop opportunities across commercial developments, BESS, renewables, data centres and other power-intensive projects
  • Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through tender, negotiation and contract award
  • Work closely with internal design, estimating and delivery teams

About You

You’ll ideally come from a multi-utility or utilities connections background, with experience across electricity, gas and/or water infrastructure. You’ll have strong industry relationships and a proven track record of developing client relationships and winning new I&C business.
