At HCA UK, exceptional care starts with exceptional people. Behind every patient experience is a network of talented colleagues working together to support innovation, growth and outstanding clinical outcomes. As we continue to develop our Joint Venture partnerships and expand our outpatient services, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery across our network.
This is an opportunity to join a highly visible team within Physician Services, working closely with consultant partners, senior leaders and operational teams to identify new opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and support the growth of services that benefit both patients and clinicians. You'll have the chance to influence commercial decisions, contribute to long term growth strategies and work on projects that have a meaningful impact across the business.
Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life. It's this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Others may think this is just a role in our Physician Services Group team, but to us, you'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
