Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth across Maple Tree’s branded product and promotional services. The Business Development Manager collaborates closely with the marketing and production teams to develop tailored solutions, ensure timely project delivery, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves:

  • Tracking sales performance
  • Analyzing market trends
  • Providing input on strategies to expand Maple Tree’s presence in target markets, including eco-friendly and sustainable merchandise offerings

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in business development, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Proficiency in consultative selling, client relationship management, and account growth strategies.
  • Experience with sales planning, forecasting, and use of CRM tools to manage opportunities and client data.
  • Ability to understand branding, merchandising, and promotional product solutions to create tailored client proposals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and collaborate across teams.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in proposals, contracts, and project follow-up.
  • Background in marketing, sales, or related fields; experience in promotional products or merchandising is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Interest in sustainability and eco-friendly product solutions, with the ability to discuss environmental considerations with clients.
