Business Development Manager (Area Sales/Account Manager)
Remote, Covering North of the UK

Business Development Manager required for a world leading manufacturer with a strong global presence in fuel storage solutions. This is an employee focussed business and you will play a key role in the sales team.
For the position you need experience in a similar role and managing a full sales cycle. Those working in a technical/engineering market will be particularly suited although all industries will be considered.

Based from home, you will be travelling to customers across the North of the UK, including some occasional travel to Scotland. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be travelling to customers building and developing relationships with new, existing and previous customers, the role is heavily account management focussed.
You'll receive a thorough onboarding process with training on the products, excellent support is in place from other departments including engineering, marketing and sales support.

- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing portfolio of customers
- Identify, research and develop new business opportunities
- You will be on the road visiting customers 2-4 days per week, working from home on the remaining days
- Periodic/occasional overnight stays required
- Take full ownership and accountability for the regional sales budget
- Collaborate closely with internal teams
