Business Development Manager – International Events & Partnerships
📍 Brighton | Hybrid (3 days in office)
💸 £35,000–£45,000 + OTE
A leading international events and media business is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join its growing commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and creating long-term partnerships. Working across a portfolio of global events, digital media, and intelligence products, you'll engage with senior decision-makers and help organizations connect with influential communities across innovation, sustainability, and technology-led sectors.
The role would suit someone with a strong background in B2B sales who enjoys a consultative approach and is motivated by both commercial success and building lasting client relationships.

What you'll be doing:
- Driving new business growth through proactive outreach and consultative selling
- Selling integrated sponsorship, events, and media partnerships
- Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and global brands
- Developing strategic account plans to maximize revenue and long-term growth
- Creating tailored commercial solutions aligned to client objectives and ROI
- Working closely with marketing and production teams to develop compelling propositions
- Attending industry events and international conferences to build relationships and identify opportunities
- Managing pipeline activity and forecasting through CRM systems

What they're looking for:
- Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or sponsorship sales
- Experience selling events, media, marketing solutions, or related commercial products
- Strong track record of new business acquisition and revenue generation
- Confident engaging and negotiating with senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach
- Highly organized, proactive, and target-driven
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
