£40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Help Build the Transformation of a Global Industry
XpoFairs is redefining trade shows for the digital generation.
Just as online shopping has transformed retail, our technology is changing how businesses exhibit, connect and trade - globally, efficiently and at scale. Our proprietary platform has already powered our first online trade shows, and we are now moving into the next stage: building and scaling an international portfolio across multiple industries and markets.
Our ambition is to expand across multiple industries, countries and specialist sectors, building XpoFairs into a significant international digital trade-show business. Our current and developing shows include the UK Gift Fair, USA Gift Fair, China Sourcing Show and future Sourcing Shows. These represent some of the first markets and sectors we have chosen to develop, with substantial scope to expand further as the business grows.
We are now looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to join us at an early stage and work closely with the founders in helping build the business.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded and highly proactive individual who wants more than simply their next job - someone who wants to help create something, take real responsibility and grow as the company grows.
The Role
This is a broad, hands-on position spanning business development, partnerships, operations and project execution.
- Help identify, drive and develop new commercial opportunities
- Build relationships with trade associations, industry bodies and international partners
- Research new markets
- Coordinate projects
- Help drive and lead a young team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join Now?

If you are ambitious, proactive and excited by the opportunity to help build an international company, we'd like to hear from you.
