About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Glasgow and drive new business across Pair.Care and Rotagap.
This is a hands-on sales role for someone who knows how to identify opportunities, open doors, build relationships with senior decision-makers, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
SaaS sales experience is essential, and experience within healthcare, social care, or health technology would be highly desirable.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities for Pair.Care and Rotagap.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial outreach through to negotiation and close.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Understand customer challenges and demonstrate how our SaaS solutions can deliver real value.
- Consistently work towards and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and forecasting updates.
- Research target markets, competitors, and potential customers to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from sale through to implementation.
- Help shape and develop our wider business development strategy as the businesses continue to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
