About the Role

Rapid Personnel is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join our successful sales division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our continued growth, developing new business opportunities and building long-term client partnerships across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients across the FMCG, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics sectors for both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Deliver tailored workforce solutions that meet clients' recruitment and operational needs.
  • Maximise the return on investment from business tools, marketing initiatives, and sales activities.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and market insights during weekly sales meetings to support business growth.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
  • Attend regular client meetings to review service performance and identify further opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team financial targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Account Management role is essential.
  • Previous experience selling into FMCG, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Logistics sectors would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Recruitment industry experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven approach.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
