Senior Account Manager – Promotional Merchandise

UK Wide | Remote / Field Based | Competitive Salary + Bonus | Full-Time, Permanent

About the Company

3ecruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to join an established and growing business within the promotional merchandise sector.

The business is looking for an experienced sales professional who can identify new opportunities, win new customers and develop long-term commercial relationships.

Purpose of the Role

This is a new-business-focused sales role with responsibility for developing your own sales pipeline, approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into revenue.

You will identify new markets and potential customers while developing and managing the accounts you personally bring into the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities
  • Prospect and approach potential new customers
  • Build, manage and convert a strong sales pipeline
  • Identify new markets, growth areas and commercial opportunities
  • Develop and grow accounts personally brought into the business
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial solutions with customers
  • Produce sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets
  • Work independently to achieve new business and revenue objectives

Essential Experience

  • Direct sales experience within promotional merchandise, branded merchandise or promotional products
  • Proven experience generating new business and winning new customers
  • Ability to demonstrate previous sales performance, targets and revenue generated
  • Experience developing and converting a new-business sales pipeline
  • Strong commercial and negotiation experience

Desirable Experience

  • 3+ years' experience within the promotional merchandise industry
  • Experience selling branded merchandise, corporate merchandise, apparel or related products
  • Experience developing new markets and commercial opportunities

Person Specification

  • Strong new-business and sales mentality
  • Confident prospecting and approaching new customers
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strategic approach to identifying new opportunities
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary + Bonus
  • Package is negotiable depending on experience, proven sales performance and the level of new business expertise brought to the role.

Location

UK Wide – Remote / Field Based

Travel to meet customers will be required as part of the role.
