We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's Pre-Construction team and help drive growth across Scotland and the North of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, spotting new opportunities, and representing a well-established civil engineering business within the industry.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the civil engineering sector
  • Attending client meetings, industry events, exhibitions and conferences
  • Working closely with Estimating and Marketing teams to support business growth
  • Managing CRM data, pre-qualification questionnaires and supplier portals
  • Representing the business professionally and confidently in a variety of settings

What we're looking for:

  • Previous Business Development experience
  • Civil Engineering, Construction or related industry experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive, organised and relationship-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
