Business Development Manager

Our client produces a technology platform specialising in real-time company verification services. The platform offers comprehensive reports and insights.

They are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to drive growth and strategic initiatives in our client's expanding market.

This remote role offers the opportunity to work from anywhere, leveraging your expertise to build and nurture client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, building a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS/AML/IDV space, selling into financial services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs within the industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
