Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially driven and proactive Sales Executive to join our team and represent Reward’s innovative Retail & Partnership team. This role is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, particularly within the retail media and data monetisation space. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to build strong relationships, drive revenue, and support the long-term growth of our commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Represent Reward’s products and services with a strong understanding of how our solutions meet partner and client needs
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Build, manage, and maintain a qualified pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Deliver compelling and tailored sales pitches, both in-person and virtually
- Report to the Head of Retail Hub with weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline updates and performance metrics
- Work to maximise sales and meet targets in both the short and long term

Client Engagement & Deal Execution
- Identify prospect needs and recommend appropriate Reward solutions
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects and clients
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both Reward and our partners
- Detail pricing and manage cost and contract negotiations with senior stakeholders
- Facilitate successful sales by gathering and aligning on detailed client requirements

Data & Retail Media Commercialisation
- Identify opportunities to monetise data and scale retail media partnerships
- Translate consumer and transactional data into actionable business opportunities
- Understand how Reward’s data products create value for retailers and partners
- Share feedback and ideas to evolve our data and media monetisation strategy

Market & Industry Insight
- Stay on top of market trends in retail media, fintech, and consumer data
- Feed market insights into Reward’s go-to-market approach and sales strategy
- Adapt sales messaging to reflect evolving industry demands and competitor positioning

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, data, and account management to align on strategy and execution
- Communicate client requirements to relevant teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
- Share best practices and insights to help refine Reward’s overall sales process and value proposition

Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in media, data, loyalty, or fintech
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets and close complex, high-value deals
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in negotiating contracts with senior stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret consumer and transactional data
- Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and in presentations
- Proficiency with CRM systems to manage and forecast sales pipeline
- Strong desire and ability to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced sales organisation
- Preferred: A strong existing network within the retail or media industries
