Business Development Manager – Cyber Security

London or Essex - hybrid

Up to £100k base + strong commission + benefits

MSSP or Cyber Vendor background required

DigiTech are supporting a MSSP who are expanding their sales function. They’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in MSSP or cyber security vendor/services sales - someone who already has relationships, networks, and clients they can open conversations with quickly.

This role suits a proven hunter who understands MDR, EDR/XDR, SOC services, cloud security, and wider cyber solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • New business development — drive net-new cyber security sales across mid-market clients.
  • Client activation — use existing relationships and networks to accelerate pipeline.
  • Solution selling — position MDR, EDR/XDR, SOC-aligned services, cloud security, and managed detection.
  • Full sales cycle ownership — prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals, and closing.
  • Market development — help shape the client’s go-to-market strategy as they scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
