Business Development Manager – Cloud Finance Software / ERP
Location: Hull or Newcastle upon Tyne | Flexible Working
Salary: £40,000–£60,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission
Earning Potential: Top Performers Earning £100,000+ OTE

The Opportunity
Are you an ambitious B2B software sales professional looking for an opportunity where your earning potential is genuinely uncapped?
We're exclusively representing an established, highly successful UK technology solutions provider that is investing heavily in the growth of its Cloud Finance Software division.
With a strong existing reputation, an established customer base and ambitious growth plans, our client is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to accelerate new customer acquisition across the UK.
This is a genuine new-business sales opportunity, engaging with Finance Directors, CFOs and business owners to demonstrate how modern cloud finance software can transform the way organisations manage their finances.
You'll be joining a growing division with significant opportunity to make an impact, supported by experienced technical consultants and implementation specialists.

What You'll Be Doing
- Winning new customers across the UK, selling cloud-based finance and ERP software.
- Building relationships with Finance Directors, CFOs and senior decision-makers.
- Identifying business challenges and positioning solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, automation and financial visibility.
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to demonstrations, proposals and closing.
- Working alongside Pre-Sales and Consultancy teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with ambitious, commercially minded sales professionals who have:
- A proven track record in B2B software sales, ideally within ERP, financial software or SaaS.
- Experience winning new business and managing consultative sales cycles.
- Confidence engaging with Finance Directors, CFOs and senior leadership teams.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- The drive to develop new opportunities and consistently exceed targets.
- A full UK driving licence.

Particularly interesting backgrounds include:
- Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, iplicit or other cloud accounting and ERP software providers.
- Experience selling iplicit would be particularly advantageous, although it is not essential.
What's On Offer?
- £40,000–£60,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission, with top performers earning over £100,000 OTE.
- Car allowance or company car, depending on the role.
