Business Development Manager – Payments / Fintech

London
1 day a week

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing payments business where you'll have the autonomy to build your own pipeline, make a real commercial impact, and accelerate your sales career.

We are looking for a proactive sales professional to drive new business growth by converting inbound enquiries and building a self-generated pipeline through outbound prospecting. The successful candidate will manage opportunities from initial contact through to onboarding, working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound enquiries into new business opportunities.
  • Generate new leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to signed agreement and onboarding.
  • Qualify prospects and identify suitable opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and sales activity.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support customer onboarding and growth.

Experience

  • Proven success in achieving sales targets through self-generated business development.
  • Must have Fintech or Payments experience.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Organised with excellent CRM and pipeline management.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
