Business Development Manager

Phoenix Bathrooms are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager covering the North London, Oxfordshire, Bucks, Herts, Beds and Northants, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrative experience of delivering results from brand representation within the independent bathroom retail showroom sector. This will include increasing brand recognition with high levels of customer account management by way of a structured monthly appointed call cycle.

A focused approach to existing customer development of commitment and turnover in addition to the conversion of targeted accounts will be required by the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Highly experienced Area Sales/Business Manager from the bathroom industry
  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships with high levels of customer service and interaction.
  • Monthly account management by way of sales analysis
  • Seeking out new opportunities with existing customers for additional levels of turnover and commitment.
  • Identify new showroom display opportunities with a targeted approach.
  • Identify new targets within the territory.
  • Convert targeted accounts into Approved Phoenix Showrooms
  • Provide excellent support within all levels of customers businesses.
  • Identify and deliver customer requirements for product and brochure training.
  • Report and provide valuable feedback to the business on customer and competitor activity.
  • Achieve business and customer sales targets.
  • Attend meetings, trade shows and training events where required.
  • Become a committed brand ambassador for Phoenix ‘The Retail Brand’

Requirements

  • Proven experience and demonstrative sales track record
  • Knowledge of all bathroom product categories
  • Computer skills, in Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with CRM software would be an advantage.
  • Skills in identifying improvements in customer product category sales.
  • Customer Business Management Skills
  • High levels of sales experience and techniques.
  • Time Management and call cycle skills.
  • Have a strong personable character.
  • The ability to take ownership and pride in your performance to achieve set targets.
  • A ‘Can do attitude’.
  • Self-motivated and a drive to succeed.

This position will include a full training induction program at the Phoenix head office and production facility to provide the knowledge required to succeed in the role of Business Development Manager.
