About Us
Green Cross Global is the UK's highest-rated Health and Safety training provider, trusted by major brands including Amazon, ASDA, BT, Coca-Cola and many others. We deliver accredited training in First Aid, Mental Health, Fire Safety and more – backed by excellence, value, and a commitment to safer workplaces.
We're growing. We've just secured significant investment to expand our sales team, launch our first dedicated marketing function and return to the UK's biggest Health & Safety exhibitions. We're looking for people who want to be part of that push.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you'll win new clients for Green Cross Global. You'll find the organisations that need us, get in front of the right people, understand what they're trying to fix, and put together a proposal that makes it easy to say yes.
This is a new business role, not account management. Once a client is on board, our Customer Success team looks after them – which means your time goes on the next opportunity, not on chasing bookings for the last one. You'll have a clear monthly target, a CRM that's kept clean, a marketing team generating leads behind you, and the freedom to go after the sectors and accounts you think are worth your time.
We sell on quality and value, not on being the cheapest or the biggest. That means you need to be comfortable selling to Health & Safety, HR and L&D leads, procurement teams and business owners – and confident explaining why an organisation should trust its training to us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Write and present proposals, quotes and tender responses, working with the MD on larger bids.
