Business Development Manager
Our international law firm client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help shape and drive its sector strategy across Europe and the US. Working closely with the Sector Head, you will lead business development activity for the London Maritime group while playing a key role in delivering the wider sector strategy across both regions.

Business Development Manager – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the London Maritime business development strategy, advising the Sector Head and partners on priorities, initiatives and opportunities
- Manage the sector budget and investment, ensuring resources are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver measurable impact
- Drive client growth and relationship development, supporting key account plans, identifying cross-selling opportunities and strengthening strategic client relationships
- Lead strategic pitches and business development opportunities, working with partners and the Pitches & Proposals team to develop compelling bids and maximise conversion
- Develop and deliver campaigns and profile-raising initiatives to generate new business and strengthen the firm’s position in the maritime sector
- Provide market and client intelligence, translating industry trends, client priorities and competitor activity into actionable business development opportunities
