Business Development Manager - Digital Forensics
Location: Home-based (occasional travel to client sites & HQ)
Salary: £40-60k + Excellent OTE
Profectus has partnered with a leading UK authority in Digital Forensics to hire a Business Development Manager focused on expanding their public sector footprint. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Forensics, you’ll lead targeted growth strategies, build high-value partnerships, and position specialist forensic solutions to key decision-makers.
Core Responsibilities
- Public Sector Growth: Map out target accounts, build strategic relationships, and drive outbound prospecting across public sector organisations.
- Pitches & Proposals: Lead the end-to-end tender process - designing tailored strategies, delivering impactful presentations, and closing deals.
- Client Engagement: Educate prospects on forensic capabilities, identify market pain points, and position relevant solutions to address client challenges.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain structured CRM records, run targeted outbound campaigns, and consistently hit quarterly revenue targets.

What You Need

- 5+ years' experience in or around Digital Forensics.
- Proven track record solving challenges and winning business within the UK Public Sector.
- Strong full-lifecycle BD background (prospecting, persona mapping, account planning, closing).
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders.
- Results-driven, resilient mindset with a collaborative approach to working with sales and technical teams.
