National Business Development Manager
London | Hybrid, 2–4 days in the office
Up to £60,000 base | £100,000 OTE | Uncapped
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a market-leading, tech-first workforce platform that is changing the way large businesses access flexible staffing.
- The addressable market is huge. You’ll be able to sell across hospitality, retail, logistics, professional services and other major workforce-led sectors, targeting national, multi-site and enterprise organisations.
- What really stands out about this business is how they enable their salespeople to succeed.
- This is a genuinely results-focused sales culture, not a KPI-driven one. If you can make 10 high-quality calls and hit your number, great. If it takes 50, make 50. You’re trusted to understand how you work best, with the focus firmly on quality conversations, pipeline and ultimately revenue.
- You’re given serious support to make that happen:
- AI-driven data and technology to help identify and prioritise the right opportunities
- Project Managers who can join client meetings, understand individual workforce challenges and help shape the solution accordingly
- Revenue Operations supporting data, pipeline and commercial strategy
- Experienced leadership who are genuinely invested in helping you close
- Wider internal teams who can help adapt the solution around complex customer requirements
- Rather than handing salespeople a product and expecting them to figure everything out themselves, the infrastructure is there to help you win.
- It’s also one of the reasons the business has exceptionally strong staff retention. People are given the tools, trust, support and progression to build a real career here, rather than simply taking another sales job.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
