This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to generate new project and service revenue across existing and emerging markets. This new-business role will engage prospective clients, understand their challenges and convert requirements into innovative, commercially viable solutions.

The Role

You will develop market presence by building strong relationships with clients, partners and manufacturers; identifying and qualifying opportunities and delivering a robust pipeline to meet quarterly and annual targets.

Working closely with internal sales, operational, engineering and marketing stakeholders, you will ensure client requirements are understood, solutions are deliverable and each opportunity has a clear strategy for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business development strategies across targeted markets and verticals.
  • Source, qualify and secure new clients and project/service revenue opportunities.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline and deliver quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Clearly communicate the business’s value proposition and align solutions to sector-specific client needs.
  • Build relationships with customers, professional partners and manufacturers.
  • Develop client engagement plans and identify decision-makers, influencers, competitors and opportunity win strategies.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to support client requirements and operational implementation.
  • Lead client presentations, talks, seminars, demonstrations and CPD sessions.
  • Use established credentials and relevant live installations to strengthen customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, CRM, forecast and reporting information.
  • Identify market trends and recommend changes that improve sales performance.
  • Attend sales meetings, product training and support wider sales and marketing activity.
  • Work in line with company procedures, reporting deadlines and team standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
