I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are looking for a BDM with a scale-up mindset to come on this journey with us. You’ll be a planner and a do-er, with the hunger to help deliver the ambitious growth we seek. You’ll be a hard-working team player who knows how to have fun along the way.

We want someone who always presents solutions rather than problems, thinks why and how, rather than why not, someone who’s not afraid to challenge or have a voice in the pursuit of what is right for Privalgo.

Objectives of the Role

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective lead generation, qualification, and follow-up processes. Utilise CRM tools to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and generate detailed reports on sales performance.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in the payments industry, including new technologies, regulations, and market trends. Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and improve sales processes, ensuring Privalgo remains competitive and agile.
  • Best Practice: Uphold and promote best practices within the company, ensuring alignment with industry standards and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
