About J+S Subsea
J+S Subsea is a leading subsea engineering company based in Aberdeen, delivering specialist subsea control systems and engineering solutions to clients across oil & gas, decommissioning and marine renewables. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help strengthen our client relationships, identify new opportunities and support the next phase of our growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Business Development Director, you'll be responsible for identifying new leads, developing relationships with target customers and building a strong pipeline of opportunities across our key markets. You'll work closely with our technical teams and represent J+S Subsea at client meetings, industry events and conferences.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with operators, EPCs, OEMs and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Deliver presentations and support proposal development.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and commercial reporting.
- Represent J+S Subsea at industry events and exhibitions.
About You
You'll have proven business development experience within the subsea, offshore or wider energy industry, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to developing long-term client relationships. Experience of subsea equipment or controls would be advantageous, along with a willingness to travel when required.
