As a field based Business Development Manager for Stapletons Tyres

You will play a vital role within our business, working closely with existing and new regional customers within a fast-paced Wholesale Tyre driven environment.

This is a unique opportunity to manage and develop an already loyal customer base covering your defined region on behalf of a true market leader, with an attractive salary, package, and great benefits.

This permanent role is based upon 40hrs/week between Monday and Friday and is field-based to include frequent daily travel within the defined North Eastern territory, to Middlesborough, Newcastle, Northumberland, Cumbria, Carlisle, Kendal, N.Yorks, Yorks. Plus any national travel if required by the business.

The basic salary range displayed will be based upon experience, the performance-related bonus and OTE will be in addition, plus an excellent benefits package as listed below.

The Day to Day

  • Work closely with a well-established regional customer base, further building relationships, maximising account and commercial opportunities with regular contact and visits throughout the defined territory
  • Work towards personal and nationally driven sales and departmental targets
  • Optimise account development around new product introductions, seasonal promotions or offers, generating new opportunities to increase account profitability

Who we're looking for

  • Somebody who thrives within customer-focused sales environments, with an emphasis upon true account development, self-motivated, and able to work effectively alone as well as part of a team
  • Well-organised and with great communication and interpersonal skills, dynamic though genuine and authentic in your approach
  • Confident, driven, and professional, a true team player
  • Commercially astute and with strong business acumen, target and goal-orientated
  • Automotive industry or similarly related industry experience advantageous though not essential
  • Full UK Cat B driver's licence is essential
