Business Development Manager – Sales & Client Success
Location: Liverpool, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid / Field-based
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business for Company Mark, conducting product demonstrations, converting prospects into paying customers, onboarding new clients, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential UK businesses and decision-makers
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email, calls, and local business meetings
- Schedule and conduct online and offline meetings
- Understand the prospect's business requirements and recommend the right Company Mark solution
- Conduct professional Company Mark product demos
- Explain features, benefits, pricing, and ROI to prospects
- Prepare quotations/proposals and negotiate commercial terms
- Follow up with prospects and close sales
- Coordinate and collect customer payments
- Complete the client onboarding process
- Coordinate with the technical/support team for implementation
- Ensure customers understand and actively use the platform
- Maintain regular communication with clients
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve initial issues
- Proactively work on client retention and renewals
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline, and follow-up schedules
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales, revenue, and retention targets

Ideal Candidate
- Experience in B2B sales / SaaS / technology / digital marketing preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable conducting both online and face-to-face meetings
- Confident in product demonstrations and negotiations
- Target-oriented and commercially driven
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills
- Comfortable working independently in the Liverpool market
- Good understanding of UK business culture
- Experience managing customers after the sale is a strong advantage
