Join The Opportunity Provider, an award-winning training provider, as a Business Development Manager with a focus on the Adult Health and Social Care sector. Take ownership of a dynamic role split between generating new business from a fresh desk and nurturing a portfolio of key accounts. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing and implementing business development strategies aligned with client and company goals.
  • Applying strong care sector knowledge to identify market opportunities and build tailored training solutions.
  • Working towards key targets.
  • Managing a portfolio of key client accounts and extending their lifetime value.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, market growth areas, and commercial partnerships.
  • Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders across industries.
  • Representing The Opportunity Provider at local and national events and conferences.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Delivery, Marketing, Curriculum, and Quality) to deliver bespoke training solutions.
  • Assisting with negotiations and securing new partnerships.
  • Maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant CRM records.

Your typical week will include working remotely from home, with occasional travel across England for client meetings, industry events, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Need to Bring:

  • Experience in business development within apprenticeships or work-based learning ideally with experience in the care industry.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and driving growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and sell to senior managers across face-to-face, email, and phone interactions.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Outstanding organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • A willingness to travel across England for meetings and events.
