Business Development Manager | Stoke-on-Trent
£40,000-£45,000 DOE + bonus + car allowance + benefits

We're partnering with an established and growing consumer products business to recruit a Business Development Manager who will help shape where the business goes next.
With an extensive product range and customers across UK and international markets, the business has a strong platform to build from. The opportunity is to identify new customers, explore new routes to market and turn that potential into sales.

What you'll be doing
As Business Development Manager, you'll own the new business journey, from identifying a prospect through to securing the first order and establishing a trading relationship.
You'll:
- Identify and target new customers, sectors and routes to market.
- Build your own pipeline, prioritising opportunities with strong commercial potential.
- Secure meetings with buyers and senior decision-makers.
- Understand each customer's needs and build a proposition that gives them a reason to buy.
- Lead presentations, negotiate terms and close profitable new business.
- Maintain clear forecasts and momentum across your opportunities.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
Once an account is established, you'll hand it over to the account management team and focus on the next win.
What you'll bring
You might already be a Business Development Manager, or you could be in another B2B sales role with a strong record of winning new customers. What matters is your ability to demonstrate the opportunities you created, the deals you secured and how you made them happen.

Package
£40,000-£45,000 depending on experience, plus bonus, car allowance and wider benefits.
