We’re working with one of the UK’s leading technology and digital training providers, who are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their high-performing sales team.
The business works with some of the UK’s largest organisations, helping them develop their people through tailored technology, digital and professional training solutions.
This is a 50/50 role across account management and new business, giving you the opportunity to develop existing customer relationships while also identifying, winning and growing new accounts.
The Role
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B customers, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and expand relationships.
- Proactively generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking and relationship development.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
- Lead discovery and client meetings to understand business challenges and identify relevant solutions.
- Take a consultative approach to sales, uncovering customer needs and positioning the right solution.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations aligned with customer requirements.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to negotiation and close.
- Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, using CRM data to prioritise opportunities and consistently achieve targets.
- Build long-term commercial relationships and become a trusted partner to your customers.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue across existing accounts through a thorough understanding of client needs.

About You
- 2+ years’ B2B sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Experience managing and developing existing accounts alongside winning new business.
- A confident, consultative sales approach with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, from prospecting through to close.
- Comfortable managing a sales pipeline and working with CRM systems.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven, resilient and motivated by results.
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys developing long-term client partnerships.
- Experience selling a solution, service, technology or professional offering would be advantageous.

The Package
- £33,000 base salary - £45K-50K OTE (Uncapped commission)
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
