🚀 We’re hiring: Business Development Manager
📍 Remote, UK
đź’· Salary BOE basic + uncapped commission

nollie is building a smarter way for restaurants to grow. Our platform brings together online bookings, customer data and AI-powered marketing to help hospitality businesses drive more repeat visits, improve customer retention and increase spend.

Now we’re looking for a Business Development Manager who loves the chase, knows how to open doors, and is confident creating opportunities from scratch.

This is a true new-business hunting role. If you’re a self-starter, a natural go-getter, and someone who is genuinely comfortable picking up the phone and cold calling prospects, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Cold calling restaurants, bars and hospitality groups to generate new business
  • Building your own prospect list and creating opportunities from the ground up
  • Reaching out through phone, email, LinkedIn and networking
  • Booking and running discovery meetings with owners, operators and decision-makers
  • Delivering engaging product demonstrations
  • Showing prospects how nollie can improve bookings, retention and customer lifetime value
  • Managing the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract
  • Following up consistently and keeping momentum in your pipeline
  • Keeping HubSpot up to date with activity, opportunities and forecasts
  • Representing nollie at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Working closely with the founding team to sharpen messaging and sales strategy

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of B2B sales, business development or new-business experience
  • Has strong hands-on experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting
  • Is comfortable making a high volume of proactive sales calls
  • Knows how to get past gatekeepers and reach decision-makers
  • Can turn a cold conversation into a qualified sales opportunity
  • Has a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Is a genuine self-starter who doesn’t need to be constantly managed
  • Has a go-getter mentality and takes ownership of their pipeline
  • Is resilient, persistent and comfortable hearing “no”
  • Is proactive about finding new prospects instead of waiting for inbound leads
  • Can manage their own time, activity levels and priorities in a remote environment
  • Is confident selling to business owners and senior decision-makers
  • Can run strong discovery calls and software demos
  • Is commercially minded and able to sell value, not just features
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup
  • Is happy to travel within the UK when needed

Experience in hospitality SaaS, restaurant technology, online bookings, CRM, POS/EPOS, payments, marketing technology or guest engagement platforms would be a big advantage.

The kind of person who will thrive here

You probably won’t enjoy this role if you need a steady stream of warm inbound leads or a manager telling you exactly what to do each day.

You probably will enjoy it if you:

  • Get a buzz from making cold calls and opening new doors
  • Like building your own pipeline
  • Enjoy chasing down opportunities others might give up on
  • Are naturally competitive
  • Take ownership of your results
  • Work well independently
  • Are comfortable trying different approaches until something works
  • Want to help build the sales playbook, not just follow one

Why nollie?

You won’t be joining a huge sales team where you’re just another number. You’ll work closely with the founders, have genuine influence over how we take nollie to market, and play a visible role in the company’s growth.

You’ll also be selling a product with a clear commercial story:

  • More bookings. Better customer relationships. More repeat business.

And with uncapped commission and ÂŁ60,000+ OTE, strong performance will be rewarded.

If you’re a hunter, cold caller, self-starter and go-getter who loves winning new business, we’d love to hear from you.
