Business Development Manager
FUZE | Colchester, Essex
£30,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £75,000+)

We’re looking for a driven, ambitious Business Development Manager who loves opening doors, building relationships and closing deals. If you are motivated by earning serious money, enjoy winning new business and want to play a central role in a fast-growing business, we would love to hear from you.
FUZE delivers a broad range of commercial services that help businesses strengthen their brand, improve their visibility and create better customer experiences. From branding, design and marketing to signage, print, vehicle graphics, architectural finishes and specialist protective solutions, we work with businesses across Essex and beyond to bring ambitious projects to life.
The Role
Your primary focus will be generating and converting new business across the full range of FUZE services, including:
- Branding and brand development
- Website design and development
- Digital marketing, including social media, SEO and paid advertising
- Graphic design and creative production
- Signage and visual solutions
- Large-format print and installation
- Vehicle graphics and fleet branding
- Architectural films and interior finishes
- Paint protection film (PPF)
- Commercial property branding
- Bespoke visual, print and installation projects
This is a true outbound business-development role. You will identify opportunities, pick up the phone, network, prospect, arrange meetings, follow up consistently and turn first conversations into long-term client relationships.

You will be expected to build and manage your own pipeline, develop relationships with decision-makers and identify opportunities across sectors including property, construction, automotive, retail, hospitality, professional services and multi-site businesses.
You will have the support of the directors, marketing and delivery teams, while retaining the autonomy to make the role your own and build a high-performing new-business function.
We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Is genuinely hungry to succeed and earn exceptional commission
- Loves winning new business and creating opportunities from scratch
- Is commercially minded and able to spot opportunities others miss
- Thinks independently and does not need to be micromanaged
- Knows how to build trust and develop long-term client relationships
- Is confident making outbound calls, attending meetings and approaching prospective clients
- Understands that persistence and consistent follow-up win business
- Is comfortable negotiating, overcoming objections and closing deals
- Can communicate confidently with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers
- Wants to be part of a business with ambitious growth plans
Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly desirable:
- B2B business development or field sales
- Branding, marketing, design or creative services
- Signage, large-format print or commercial installations
- Vehicle graphics, fleet branding or automotive services
- Property, construction, fit-out or facilities-related sales
- Commercial print, interiors or visual merchandising
- Account management with a demonstrable new-business track record
