Product Business Development Manager

Hourly Rate: £50.00
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Product Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships and business growth initiatives within a global technology organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile partnership projects, shape product growth strategies, and collaborate with some of the most innovative teams in the technology industry.

The Role

As a Product Business Development Manager, you will support the development and execution of partnership strategies that drive product adoption, solve business challenges, and unlock new growth opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to identify, negotiate, and implement strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies to support product growth and business objectives.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with leading technology and content partners.
  • Drive complex deal negotiations, including custom and zero-to-one partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and execution of partnerships.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to inform partnership strategy.
  • Develop business cases, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Track partnership performance, measure KPIs, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and drive alignment on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Product Partnerships, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and executing complex commercial agreements.
  • Experience working within technology, digital media, entertainment, consumer technology, or platform businesses.
  • Strong understanding of digital business models, platform ecosystems, and consumer technology.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience building business cases, pitch materials, and executive presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience operating within large, matrixed organisations.
  • Background in product partnerships, platform integrations, or technology ecosystems.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities.
  • MBA or advanced business qualification is advantageous.
