Position Overview
dormakaba UK have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our Access Control Systems Sales team.
Our Access Control Sales team promote our access control products to the security and construction industries via the establishment and maintenance of partnership agreements with suppliers and distributors, as well as promoting these products with end users to create opportunities for our partners to install and commission dormakaba products.
You will be promoting "best in class" products with reliability and longevity, so you will have the confidence that what you are promoting has an excellent track record which is used extensively within major organisations, as well as government and public sector bodies.
This is a role which is about business development, finding new opportunities, developing relationships and building our business through both direct and indirect means.
What You Will Do
- Identify and recruit high quality security system integrators and installers into the dormakaba “partnership programme”. You will manage a prospect list of potential partners and arrange meetings with these prospects to discuss the partnership programme and see if the potential partner aligns with dormakaba values.
- Offering these partnership companies our support in identifying project opportunities, promoting the dormakaba access control product range. Alternatively working with the partner on dormakaba generated projects where we would need the support of a partner in the installation and commissioning of dormakaba projects.
- Being the "voice of the manufacturer", supporting the partnership company in their sales presentations to their prospective clients for dormakaba products.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
