Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for international growth and innovation in the Aerospace & Defence sector? As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving global sales across a diverse portfolio, including aerial delivery systems, naval decoy systems, and through-life support. This is a high-impact role focused on shaping the future of our business by developing new markets, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute winning strategies to secure new international business.
  • Identify, negotiate and close high-value opportunities across core markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, partners, and agents.
  • Lead outward-facing initiatives to explore new routes to market, including collaborations with major aerospace and defence primes.
  • Represent the company at global trade shows, military trials, and industry events.
  • Drive customer-centric innovation by supporting product development and engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
  • Champion our brand and capabilities in the Defence Aerospace sector.

What We Expect:

  • Proven success in international business development within Aerospace & Defence (Military/Civilian Aerospace, Maritime, or MRO).
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of defence procurement cycles.
  • Willingness to travel internationally multiple times per month.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing overseas agents and navigating cross-cultural environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, agile team setting.
  • A proactive, hunter mindset with a drive to win and grow.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiar with formal sales processes.
  • Hold or be Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
