Business Development Manager | Automotive Finance | North/North East £45,000 to £50,000+ basic salary, bonus, company car, private medical cover, 27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and a strong pension contribution.

Covering the North/ North East, this is an opportunity to step into a high profile field-based role where your work has a direct impact on dealer performance and vehicle sales.

You’ll have the autonomy to build relationships across a well-established retailer network while working closely with a major automotive finance brand. The role combines commercial account management, strategic planning and genuine influence. It suits someone who enjoys being in front of customers, spotting opportunities and turning them into results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with retailers across the North to drive finance penetration, profitability and vehicle sales.
  • Build trusted relationships with dealer principals, sales leaders and manufacturer contacts.
  • Deliver dealer reviews, coaching and performance plans that improve results and customer retention.
  • Monitor market activity and competitor performance, using insights to identify growth opportunities.

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Experience within automotive finance, dealership or a manufacturer sales environment.
  • A proven track record of delivering against sales or account management targets.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of compliance, regulation and customer-focused sales processes.
