About StackCX
StackCX is a customer experience software platform designed for sales teams in high-value, conversation-driven industries, with a strong focus on car dealerships. The product uses AI to analyse every sales call, identify commitments made to prospects, and ensure those promises are followed up. StackCX integrates directly with existing phone systems and CRMs, avoiding disruptive system changes while improving accountability and visibility. The platform supports managers with scorecards and coaching tools and provides sales representatives with clear daily task lists. StackCX helps teams close more leads by turning every customer interaction into a trackable, actionable opportunity.
Role Description
The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, remote position responsible for driving growth and new customer acquisition for StackCX. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Identifying and qualifying prospects
- Building and managing a sales pipeline
- Conducting discovery calls and product demos with decision-makers in target industries such as automotive and other high-value sales environments

The Business Development Manager will collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, gather feedback from prospects, and shape go-to-market strategies. This role also involves:

- Negotiating contracts
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close
- Maintaining accurate CRM records to forecast and report on sales performance
The Business Development Manager is expected to develop long-term relationships, represent the company at virtual events or industry forums, and consistently meet or exceed growth targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated skills in business development, outbound prospecting, and pipeline management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with consultative selling, conducting discovery calls, and delivering tailored product demos to executive and operational stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and high-value deals.
- Proficiency using CRM systems and sales engagement tools, with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Comfort working with technology and AI-driven software solutions; ability to explain product value in clear, practical terms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and influence in remote/virtual settings.
- Previous experience selling into car dealerships, SaaS, or customer experience / sales enablement solutions is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple opportunities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
