Business Development Manager – SaaS / Learning Technology

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 base + uncapped commission
Location: West Yorkshire / Hybrid

We are looking for a strong new business SaaS salesperson to join a growing learning technology business.

This is a genuine hunter role for someone who enjoys prospecting, creating opportunities from scratch and winning new customers rather than relying solely on inbound leads. You'll join an experienced commercial team with a strong existing inbound and marketing engine, while having the autonomy to help shape how proactive new business is approached.

The Role

  • Generate your own pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Identify and engage new target organisations.
  • Run discovery calls and understand customer requirements.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial engagement to close.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Work alongside marketing and benefit from an established inbound lead engine.
  • Manage activity and pipeline through HubSpot and other prospecting tools.
  • Hand customers into implementation/account management after close, allowing you to remain focused on new business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
