Business Development Manager Drone Inspection, Surveying & Data Collection UK (Hybrid)

Airbotics Talent are supporting an innovative drone technology business as they continue to expand their commercial team. Following strong customer growth across critical infrastructure, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to help drive adoption of autonomous drone services within the construction and utilities sectors.

This is an opportunity to join a business operating at the forefront of commercial drone technology, delivering scalable inspection, surveying and data capture solutions to enterprise customers. Working alongside experienced operational and technical teams, you'll play a key role in turning complex customer requirements into long-term managed service agreements.

The Role

You'll take ownership of opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award and account development, building relationships with senior decision makers across major infrastructure owners, contractors and utility organisations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
