Role: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location / Area: United Kingdom (UK) – focusing on the Midlands and East Coast area

At Rehasense, we are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to rebuild and drive our sales performance and strengthen our market position across the UK, specifically focusing on the Midlands and East Coast regions. In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of dealer network and business partner relationships, shape regional sales tactics, and work closely with the NHS and care facility markets.

Your Tasks

  • Rebuild and dynamically grow sales performance by actively promoting our premium product ranges (such as rollators and wheelchairs) throughout the Midlands and East Coast of England via our dealer network.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong, trusted relationships with major B2B clients, distributors, healthcare institutions, care homes, and the NHS.
  • Proactively identify market opportunities to acquire high-value key accounts and expand our footprint in the designated territory.
  • Lead high-level commercial negotiations, framework agreements, and tailored offer preparations based on company targets and medical equipment sales cycles.
  • Conduct regular sales data analysis, market potential assessments, and forecasting to present clear reports to upper management.
  • Deliver high-impact product presentations and represent Rehasense at major international trade shows and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Logistics, Customer Service) to ensure top-tier service delivery to key clients.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to fuel strategic product and market enhancements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record (extensive professional experience) as a Regional/National Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in B2B sales within healthcare, medical devices, or the mobility/disabled bathrooms equipment industry (strong familiarity with the UK NHS and disability market preferred).
  • Strong capability to manage complex, long-cycle sales processes and high-value commercial partnerships.
  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); strong familiarity with the UK medical market is essential.
  • Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with an ability to engage at executive levels.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and structured with exceptional territory management skills (covering the UK / Midlands / East Coast).
  • Active driving licence and readiness to travel within the assigned region/country.
