Business Development Manager
Join a growing cyber security SaaS business helping organisations improve security awareness and reduce real-world risk. You’ll take ownership of new business opportunities, build relationships with senior technology stakeholders and develop your sales career within an ambitious, supportive team.
Role Overview
- Location: Leeds/Hybrid. (3 days per week in the office / 2 days remote)
- Package: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum + uncapped commission (paid monthly)
- Industry: Cyber Security / SaaS
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach across phone, LinkedIn, email and sales platforms.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, keeping activity focused on high-quality prospects and commercial opportunities.
- Lead discovery conversations with IT and information security decision-makers to understand their challenges and priorities.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly connect the solution to each prospect’s needs.
- Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial meeting through to negotiation, close and customer handover.
- Work towards quarterly revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasts and disciplined pipeline management.
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing and channel partners to strengthen conversion rates and drive better territory performance.

Main Skills Needed
- Minimum of 2+ years of end to end sales experience, with a track record of generating and closing your own opportunities.
- Confident outbound prospecting skills across telephone and digital channels.
- Background in SAAS, Cyber Security, Education Technology, LMS or CRM would be preferred.
- Experience progressing opportunities through multiple stages of a B2B sales process.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- A consultative approach to sales, with the ability to ask the right questions and understand customer requirements.
- A target-focused mindset, resilience and the motivation to consistently improve performance.
- A collaborative, coachable approach with the ability to quickly put feedback into practice.
