Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time role based in Rotherham. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting BHI Supplies Ltd’s PPE and workwear solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are accurately captured, solutions are sourced effectively, and service delivery meets agreed expectations. The role also involves:
- Monitoring market trends
- Maintaining a strong sales pipeline
- Reporting on performance
- Contributing to the company’s growth strategy
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Solid experience in account management, client relationship building, and delivering solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Knowledge of PPE, workwear, or related industrial supply sectors, with the ability to understand product features and value propositions.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both in person and via phone or video.
- Ability to analyze client requirements, interpret data or evidence, and support informed buying decisions.
- Strong self-organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with CRM, ERP systems, and office software.
- Proven experience in B2B sales & business development; experience in industrial or safety products is required.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales.
