Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to join a well-established player in the Corporate Travel Industry. You will be at the forefront of their expansion and have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Business Development Manager - What will I be doing?

The Business Development Manager will report directly into the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in fuelling the Company’s corporate expansion. The role will involve:

  • Identifying and approaching potential partnerships and corporate accounts through proactive research
  • Initiating strategic marketing campaigns
  • Leading new business meetings
  • Contributing to the efficient administration of their sales follow-up operations
  • Integrating new accounts

Business Development Manager - What experience do I need?

  • 5+ years Business Travel Development experience
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Ability to seek and develop new relationships to achieve strategic business objectives
  • A broad understanding of online booking technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Proficient in networking tools such as LinkedIn
  • Supportive and flexible team player

Business Development Manager - What else do I need to know?

As Business Development Manager, you will be fully supported and have access to a lot of expertise. Although the company has been in operation for many years, someone with experience in working for a start-up would be of particular interest. The position is being offered on a hybrid basis, with two days a week at their offices in Hertfordshire, and there’s plenty of opportunity for progression. The salary is dependent on experience £40k - £55k plus bonus OTE £75k plus 21 days holiday, sick pay, pension and 6 well being days per year.
