Business Development Manager – Contract Cleaning
Kent & London
£50,000 – £60,000 Basic + £15,000–£20,000 OTE

From its roots in the South East, the company has continued to expand its footprint, successfully competing for and winning major commercial contracts across London and the Kent. With an impressive portfolio of clients, a strong reputation for service delivery and ambitious plans for further growth, this is an exciting time to join the business.
We are now recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in that continued growth, with a specific focus on winning new contract cleaning business across Kent and London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established sales professional who already understands the commercial cleaning / contract cleaning sector and has a proven track record of identifying, developing and winning new business.

The Role
You will take responsibility for developing new contract cleaning opportunities across Kent and London, targeting organisations within sectors including:
- Education
- Commercial & Corporate
- Retail
- Hospitality
- Healthcare
This is a genuine new business development role. You will proactively identify target organisations, build relationships with key decision-makers, manage tenders and proposals, attend site visits and ultimately convert opportunities into profitable long-term cleaning contracts. You will work closely with the wider operational team to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and meet each client's requirements.
What We're Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone with direct experience selling contract cleaning services. You should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of winning new cleaning contracts, developing your own pipeline and managing the complete sales process from initial prospecting through to presentation, tender and close.

Experience selling into education, commercial, corporate, retail, hospitality or healthcare environments would be particularly attractive. You'll need to be commercially astute, confident dealing with senior decision-makers and comfortable working autonomously across your territory.
