This is the Job

Reporting into the Head of Delivery Operations you will win new corporate customers and help grow itsu’s catering business, including but not exclusively to clients driven by our property-led itsu locations, pop ups and innovative food propositions.

You will find and qualify opportunities, lead proposals and negotiations, and close business that our shops can deliver reliably and profitably.

You will own the sales journey through to a clear handover to the Delivery Account Manager, who manages onboarding and the ongoing customer relationship.

Core Responsibilities

  • Represent itsu values, vision and operational approach to the catering market.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline of corporate customers in areas itsu shops can serve reliably and profitably.
  • Lead customer meetings and tastings, prepare proposals, negotiate and close new business against agreed targets.
  • Assess pricing, contribution profit and repeat potential, accounting for food, labour, packaging, delivery, discounts and platform costs where applicable.
  • Complete a clear handover of customer requirements and agreed commercial terms to the Delivery Account Manager for onboarding and ongoing account management.
  • Share relevant customer and competitor feedback to help improve the catering offer and sales approach.

This is You

  • You have a proven record of personally generating and closing B2B new business against sales targets.
  • You bring relevant experience in catering, foodservice, hospitality, workplace services or another operationally complex B2B business.
  • You are resilient, practical and accountable for results, and work well with shop and operational teams.
  • You are a team player who can lean into customer requirements, deliver the ad hoc requests outside your JD, and deliver as part of a team.
