About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to help grow DN Media Group’s corporate subscription business.

This is a new-business-first sales role. You will create new opportunities, open doors at the C-level, and convert prospects into long-term customers across DN Media Group's portfolio of publications and services. This role is for someone who gets their energy from solving a prospect’s needs, is relentless about finding the next opportunity, and closing deals.

Success in this role requires persistence, commercial curiosity, strong relationship-building skills and a genuine desire to create value for customers. You will work closely with colleagues across Corporate Sales, Marketing and Product teams, contributing to both sales growth and long-term customer development.

Your responsibilities

  • Drive corporate subscription growth
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across DN Media Group’s portfolio of publications and services, collaborating with the Events, Ads and Marketing teams
  • Generate new sales through proactive outreach, lead follow-up and relationship building.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and activity KPIs, while accurately forecasting your results.

Sales Execution

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate customers through renewals, upselling and ongoing account development.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend relevant subscription solutions and services.

Sales execution

  • Engage and build trust with C-level and senior stakeholders, understanding their strategic priorities.
  • Multi-thread across organizations to build consensus, de-risk deals and implement company-wide agreements from the get-go.
  • Position DN Media Group's content, insight and market intelligence as a strategic asset.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations and commercial recommendations.
  • Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue using sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
  • Represent DN Media Group professionally and contribute to a positive customer experience across all touchpoints.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
