Business Development Manager - Custom Installation
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to develop and grow our Custom Installation business across Greater London.
As part of our Company-Owned Store organisation, you will partner closely with our retail teams to identify, develop, and convert project opportunities across both residential and commercial sectors. Leveraging the strength of the Bang & Olufsen brand and our London store network, you will build relationships with custom installers, architects, interior designers, developers, and hospitality operators to drive sustainable business growth.
This is a highly visible role that combines business development, project sales, and relationship management, helping to establish Bang & Olufsen as the preferred luxury audio partner for premium residential and commercial projects throughout London.
Key Responsibilities
This position will develop and execute a growth strategy for the London market, working closely with our retail teams and industry partners to identify, generate, and convert new business opportunities.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and implement a local Custom Installation strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Generate new business opportunities across the residential and commercial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with custom installers, architects, interior designers, developers, hospitality operators, and other key stakeholders.
- Partner closely with our London store teams to maximise lead generation and project conversion opportunities.
- Manage opportunities from initial engagement through specification, quotation, negotiation, and project completion.
- Deliver against agreed sales, profitability, and pipeline targets.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements within agreed guidelines.
- Support clients and partners with product specification and solution design to ensure the optimal application of Bang & Olufsen products and solutions.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting through relevant business systems.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments, adapting commercial strategies when required.
- Promote successful project outcomes and best practices internally and externally where appropriate.

What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in business development, consultative sales, or project-based sales, ideally within the custom installation, AV integration, luxury residential, technology, design, or hospitality sectors.
You will also bring:
- Proven success in winning and developing new B2B business.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across complex sales cycles.
- Strong relationship-building skills and an ability to establish credibility with industry professionals.
- Existing relationships within the custom installation, AV integration, architecture, interior design, or property development community would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing projects from opportunity identification through to completion.
- Technical curiosity and confidence discussing integrated technology solutions.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A collaborative, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

As part of our UK & Ireland Company-Owned Store organisation, you will report to the Store Manager for our flagship Mayfair store and work closely with Head of COCO, UK & Ireland, and our other store teams across London, as well as local and global Bang & Olufsen stakeholders.
